Job summary

Nomura in London seeks a Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Controller for a 9-month PAYE contract within the Treasury Finance team. You will run daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting for the European consolidation group, coordinating with teams in London, Mumbai and Tokyo.

Key duties include validating PRA, EBA and JFSA returns, supporting Mumbai liquidity metrics, explaining variances via MI, and driving IT system improvements and UAT to strengthen controls and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Liquidity experience in an IB environment producing and validating PRA ILG (PRA110), LCR, ALMM, Asset Encumbrance & NSFR
• Detailed knowledge of PRA & EBA Liquidity regulations
• Familiarity with JFSA Basel III Liquidity rules advantageous
• IB product knowledge including front-to-back trade lifecycle and Liquidity reporting
• Strong IT literacy, analytical and numerical skills
• Familiarity with big data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx) advantageous
• Previous experience as a Regulatory Reporting Controller essential
• Results oriented in pressurised environment with tight reporting deadlines
• Regulatory Reporting software experience (AXIOM) advantageous
• Experience with EBA/PRA submissions processes (XBRL wrappers, Taxonomy specifications, validation)

Responsibilities

• Validate and submit PRA, EBA & JFSA returns internally and to the Regulator on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
• Manage the weekly review, challenge and submission process for the PRA110
• Support the Mumbai team in producing regulatory liquidity reporting metrics
• Explain key variances and trends through commentaries & MI related to Liquidity flows
• Propose changes and lead UAT for IT system improvements across Liquidity Regimes
• Maintain and review procedures and governance for Regulatory Liquidity Reporting
• Assist build out of new MI and controls to enhance timeliness and accuracy
• Support interpretation and challenge on PRA, EBA and JFSA Liquidity regulations with Regulatory Policy
• Act as liaison between Regulatory Reporting, Treasury Liquidity Management, Change/Project teams, IT
