Job summary

Pertemps Northampton seeks a meticulous Hygiene Operative to join our liquid food manufacturing site in Northampton. You will maintain cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment and lines, conducting inspections, preventing cross-contamination, disposing of waste, and keeping records of cleaning activities.

Qualifications

• Proven hygiene experience in a food environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP/GMP and food safety.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and facilities.
• Clean processing lines, tanks, and pipelines to meet hygiene standards.
• Perform daily checks and report hygiene issues promptly.
• Follow hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
• Dispose of waste and cleaning materials in line with regulations.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and supplies.
• Collaborate with production and QA to ensure cleanliness.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Keep walkways, communal areas, toilets and yard clean.
