British American Tobacco UK invites applications for an undergraduate internship in Southampton for 12 months in the Liquids Discovery Team within New Categories R&D. You will join students aiming to learn how liquids are designed, formulated and manufactured, and you will lead a project to invent new technology.

The placement provides mentorship, regular reviews with your Line Manager, and hands-on experience to develop transferable skills in a dynamic industrial setting.

Formación

• Students currently undertaking a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related subjects.
• Interest in liquids formulation, product design and lab-based research.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative R&D environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a project from concept through to invention within the liquids discovery team.
• Learn liquid formulations, design experiments and conduct lab research.
• Analyse results and present findings to scientists and stakeholders.
• Support cross-functional collaboration and develop project management skills.
