Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a senior Linux systems professional to maintain security, automation, and peak performance across a large enterprise environment in Birmingham, with hybrid flexibility after the first 90 days.

You will administer Red Hat Linux, automate deployments and patching, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage VMware ESXi and storage. This is a high-impact role with visibility across technology teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Red Hat Linux administration experience in an enterprise production environment.
• Demonstrated experience automating deployments and security/patch management.
• Practical CI/CD pipeline experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support production Red Hat Linux servers and enterprise infrastructure.
• Automate server deployments, security updates, and patch management.
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and application dependencies.
• Administer VMware/ESXi infrastructure and enterprise storage environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Tier 3 support.

Compensation

• Up to $130,000, depending on experience
