Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Linux systems professional to maintain a large enterprise environment, focusing on Red Hat Linux administration, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The role is based in Birmingham with hybrid flexibility after the first 90 days to balance on-site collaboration with remote work.

You'll manage production Red Hat servers, automate deployments and security patches, and work across VMware ESXi, storage, and infrastructure to keep systems secure and performing at peak.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Red Hat Linux administration in enterprise environments.
• Experience automating deployments and security/patch management.
• Practical CI/CD pipeline experience.
• VMware administration including ESXi/vCenter.
• Experience with enterprise disk/storage/SAN environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support production Red Hat Linux servers and enterprise infrastructure
• Automate server deployments, security updates, and patch management
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and application dependencies
• Administer VMware/ESXi infrastructure and enterprise storage environments
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Tier 3 support

Compensation

• Up to $97,000, depending on experience
