Responsibilities

• Work with a driven team passionate about software deployment in battlespace Command and Control (C2) weapon systems.
• Develop technology at the forefront of European missile system design, delivering safe, secure, and reliable products.
• Join a dedicated team to develop middleware solutions, requiring adaptability and inquisitiveness.
• Experience with Linux OS migration, configuration, and security is essential.
• Engage in projects across land and maritime domains involving sophisticated missile systems, offering diverse software development opportunities.
• Participate in internal SE University courses to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Experience needed

• Experience configuring, securing, and maintaining Linux OSs (Redhat and/or Ubuntu), including Kernel configuration and testing.
• A passion for software engineering, with the ability to innovate and solve complex problems, and a willingness to develop skills through on-the-job or formal training.
• Knowledge of software design differences between Real-Time OSs and Hypervisors is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, contribute to design and implementation, and support integration.
• Experience developing software for COTS hardware and working with target system hardware.
• Experience in the Defence/Aerospace or safety-regulated environments is advantageous.
