Permanent Senior Software Engineer - Networking. Remote or Hybrid Edinburgh

1. Develop and enhance a Debian Linux Network Operating System (NOS) supporting virtualized networks.
2. Architect, design, and implement network components, driving future architecture and implementation decisions.
3. Work on products that enable networks for services like phone access, streaming, and messaging.
4. Collaborate within a team of 40 engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Technologies and Skills

• Proficiency in C programming and automated unit testing with Python or C.
• Experience with Linux OS and open-source software development.
• Knowledge of network components such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN.
• Experience with Data Forwarding paths, merchant silicon chipsets, Whitebox platforms.
