Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team for a critical infrastructure decommissioning and virtualization project. This role involves refining automation code, managing estate and monitoring, and handling security queries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation Refinement: Improve and refine existing automation scripts to enhance decommissioning processes.
2. Infrastructure Management: Oversee infrastructure, including monitoring, control, and estate management.
3. Security: Address security-related queries and ensure compliance with security standards.
4. System Administration: Perform server cleanup and system administration tasks.
5. Reporting: Generate and manage reports effectively.
6. Communication: Liaise with cyber teams and answer security questions regarding infrastructure changes.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: Experience with Red Hat Linux, Bash scripting, and virtualization technologies.
• Soft Skills: Agile, self-starter, capable of refining standardized processes.
• Experience: Previous experience in infrastructure management, automation refinement, and system administration.
