LINUX INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team for a critical infrastructure decommissioning and virtualization project. This role involves refining automation code, managing estate and monitoring, and handling security queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Refinement:Improve and refine existing automation scripts to enhance decommissioning processes.
• Infrastructure Management:Oversee infrastructure, including monitoring, control, and estate management.
• Security:Address security-related queries and ensure compliance with security standards.
• System Administration:Perform server cleanup and system administration tasks.
• Reporting:Generate and manage reports effectively.
• Communication:Liaise with cyber teams and answer security questions regarding infrastructure changes.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills:Experience with Red Hat Linux, Bash scripting, and virtualization technologies.
• Soft Skills:Agile, self-starter, capable of refining standardized processes.
• Experience:Previous experience in infrastructure management, automation refinement, and system administration.
