NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Radiographer to join their innovative team in Dundee. This role involves working through pre-treatment and treatment sections, requiring HCPC registration. The department offers extensive support for graduate radiographers to develop into autonomous practitioners.

Graduate radiographers will receive support to develop skills and competencies necessary to operate as autonomous practitioners with limited supervision. In accordance with Agenda for Change Annex 20, skills to perform autonomously at Band 6 level should be developed within 12 to 24 months after starting at Band 5.
We serve the population of Tayside and North East Fife, delivering around 1400 new courses annually for various cancers, including specialist treatments like brachytherapy and SABR. Our department features three Varian linear accelerators, a Canon Aquillion Wide Bore CT scanner, mould room facilities, HDR brachytherapy, and Raystation treatment planning system. We are a paper-light department, expanding our use of SABR and IGRT, with upcoming equipment replacements and system upgrades.
Dundee is Scotland’s fourth-largest city with a population of approximately 148,270. It is undergoing significant redevelopment and boasts a vibrant arts scene, including the Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre and the Victoria & Albert Design Museum. The city offers excellent transport links and access to the scenic northeast coastline and Highland Scotland.
