We are excited to announce that Lanes Group and Sapphire Utility Solutions have secured multiple contract extensions with our key strategic client, Severn Trent Water. As trusted delivery partners, we will continue providing proactive and reactive wastewater solutions across their network during the AMP8 regulatory period, the most significant investment phase in the water industry.

We are currently recruiting a Lining Site Supervisor to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the Midlands area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team working on critical infrastructure projects that positively impact communities.

About The Role

Due to business expansion, we are seeking a new Lining Site Supervisor based in Stafford, working under the Lining Project Manager. The role involves covering the Severn Trent Water reactive contract within the lining division. We seek someone flexible, with excellent communication skills, able to work well in a team and under pressure.

The ideal candidate must hold a UK driving license.

Location: Stafford

Hours: 50 hours per week, 07:00-17:00, Monday to Friday. Weekend work available.

Salary: £38,000-£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

1. Support project planning and management of lining teams.
2. Ensure audits, compliance, and site safety in accordance with company policies and health and safety standards.
3. Engage in problem solving with strong analytical skills.
4. Manage customer and client interactions.
5. Oversee fleet and plant management.
6. Monitor productivity and ensure excellent housekeeping in adherence to safety policies.
7. Contribute positive, innovative input to the team.
8. Report safety issues according to company procedures.
9. Demonstrate leadership and attend weekly site meetings.
10. Manage live work bank daily, liaising with clients and lining teams, reacting to high-priority jobs.

Experience and Qualifications

1. Excellent listening and communication skills.
2. Experience in customer and client interaction at all levels.
3. Proficiency in IT.
4. Knowledge of patching, lining, and robotic cutting.
5. Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
6. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
7. Strong work ethic.
8. HGV license preferred but not essential.
