Job summary

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN Distribution) are recruiting qualified Linespersons to join our teams. Base locations include Melksham among others, in a permanent full-time role with flexible first options.

You will work on networks from LV up to 11/33kV while upholding a strong safety culture and responding to storms and emergencies. Applicants must hold DNO electrical qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must hold DNO electrical qualifications; this is not a trainee role.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• UK-based experience with LV to 11/33kV networks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction and repair work on networks from LV up to 11/33kV.
• Ensure safety of yourself and colleagues and uphold a strong safety culture.
• Respond quickly to emergencies to provide reliable service to customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather and be available for out-of-hours standby duties.
