Job summary

SSEN Distribution, part of the SSE group, seeks experienced Linespersons to join our Southern Electric Power Distribution team. You will contribute to construction and repair on networks from LV up to 11/33kV, maintaining safety and reliability across our network.

This full-time role requires UK DNO qualifications and a valid UK driving licence. You must be ready for out-of-hours standby duties and storm responses, and to work outdoors in all weather with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical linesperson.
• DNO qualifications in the UK or overseas from a recognised training school.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction and repair work on networks from LV up to 11/33kV.
• Ensure safety for yourself and colleagues and promote a strong safety culture.
• Respond to emergencies promptly to maintain service to customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather with standby duties and short-notice attendance.
