Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited is seeking a skilled Linesman LE3 to join our infrastructure team in Scotland. You will install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power transmission and distribution systems, adhering to the highest safety standards and company protocols.

This role requires LE3 certification, experience with high/low voltage grids, and a strong commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, test, and repair overhead and underground cables and equipment.

• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioning equipment safely.
• Inspect lines and substations to identify hazards and maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team to ensure projects meet safety and technical specs.

Job Summary

AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Linesman LE3 to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical power transmission and distribution systems. As an LE3-certified professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of the power grid while adhering to the highest industry standards and company safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, splice, test, and repair overhead and underground cables, conductors, and related electrical equipment.
• Erect and maintain utility poles, transmission towers, and associated support structures.
• Troubleshoot power outages and electrical faults, and perform emergency restoration work in a timely manner.
• Operate specialized machinery and vehicles, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioning equipment, safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of overhead lines and substations to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure all projects are completed on schedule and in strict compliance with safety regulations and technical specifications.

Job Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Linesman LE3 certification or equivalent industry credential.
• Proven experience working as a linesman on high-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Deep understanding of electrical safety codes, regulatory standards, and safe work procedures (such as lockout/tagout).
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure during emergency power restoration scenarios.
• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record is highly preferred.
