Aureos is seeking a skilled LE2 Linesman to join our team in Scotland. You will be responsible for the safe construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems to ensure reliable power delivery.

You will read blueprints, follow safety protocols, operate bucket trucks and digger derricks, and collaborate with colleagues to restore service during outages. On-call duties may apply, with generous employee benefits and pension options.

Qualifications

• LE2 Linesman certification or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Proven experience in construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Proficiency with line construction and maintenance equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices including arc flash and Lockout/Tagout.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution lines including poles and transformers.
• Perform live-dead-live testing, grounding, and bonding per safety regulations and standards.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other line equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and outages to restore service efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and working at heights.
• Read blueprints and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project completion.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required.
• Document work performed with time, materials, and equipment status.

As an LE2 Linesman, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems, ensuring reliable power delivery for AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, including poles, conductors, transformers, and associated equipment.
• Perform live-dead-live testing, grounding, and bonding procedures according to safety regulations and company standards.
• Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other specialized line equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system faults and outages, implementing effective solutions to restore service.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, and working at heights.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure project completion and operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required to address power outages and critical infrastructure issues.
• Complete accurate documentation of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and equipment status.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

• LE2 Linesman certification or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Proven experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating line construction and maintenance equipment, including bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Thorough understanding of electrical safety practices, including arc flash, grounding, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing poles and lifting heavy objects.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
