Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Linen Services team member to oversee the day-to-day provision of a clean linen and uniform service across the Trust.

The role requires a physically fit individual with good literacy and numeracy, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure across multiple sites. Training will be provided, and there may be occasional travel between Trust sites.

Qualifications

• A good standard of general education with basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience working in a manual handling role/Physically Fit.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to relate and communicate with people on all levels.
• Competent written and spoken level of English.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Able to prioritise workload.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Competence in utilising software packages for data entry and manipulation.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing day-to-day provision of a clean linen and uniform service across the Trust.
• Maintaining records for performance management and quality control.
• Stock management and assisting Linen Services Manager with duties.
• Depose for Linen Services Manager when on leave or capacity demands.
• Support management of the Linen & Laundry contract and in-house operations.
• Develop procedures and provide training.
• Participate in audit, monitoring and performance reporting.
