Job description

We are looking for a friendly and organised Linen Porter

You will support and assist the housekeeping team delivering clean linen to guest rooms and housekeeping storage areas.

Your day to day;

  • Accepting and distributing linen, uniform and aother consumable items for guest areas.
  • Removing any used linen from guest bedrooms and public areas.
  • Preparing the linen to be uplifted by the linen company.
  • Storing all delivered items in the appropriate storage areas.
  • Reporting on maintenance issues and faults
  • Occasionally wash small items the team may require for example chefs’ uniform and aprons, tea towels and service gloves
  • Stock management

Who are we looking for?

The standard of our bedrooms will leave a lasting impression on our guests, you will have good presentation skills to ensure rooms are guest ready.

You will be able build relationships with the housekeeping team and have good communication skills.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and able to prioritise task and who enjoys physical and energetic work.

Experience in a customer facing role and/or within a hospitlaity environment or similar is desireable. Experience of working in a small team environment would be an advantage.
