Job summary

WGC Ltd in Bath is seeking a Linen Porter to support the housekeeping team, delivering clean linen and towels to stores and assisting in stock movement. You will report to the Head Housekeeper and help maintain the linen store area in a busy hotel setting.

The role offers guaranteed hours, a fixed-rate of £12.75 per hour, and a comprehensive development plan, including a training budget up to £10,000 per year with approved apprenticeships and courses.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping environment is advantageous and helps deliver a consistent level of service in a busy hotel.

Responsibilities

• To deliver clean linen and towels to the designated store rooms.
• To maintain the records for the movement of linen and towels, inc rejects.
• To reject any linen and/or towels that are not up to the agreed quality and appearance.
• To assist in mattress turning as directed by the housekeeper.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the linen store area.
• To report any maintenance defects to the housekeeper.

In the role of Linen Porter, you will report to Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in the day to day running of the department.
