Job summary

Omni Facilities Management is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping by handling laundry tasks in the laundry room and ensuring sufficient linen for daily operations. This role involves bending, carrying, standing, and operating equipment, with a focus on quality and service.

Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team, maintain high cleanliness standards, and handle varied laundry tasks across washing, ironing, folding, and storage.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods.
• Excellent cleaning and garment handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Soaking, washing, ironing, folding and delivering linen.
• Operate washers, dryers, and chutes with care and efficiency.
• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and quality.
• Sort and count dirty linen from the chute.
• Place clean linen and uniforms in covers or containers.
• Issue uniforms during opening hours.
• Store pillows, duvets, protectors and toppers safely.
• Store laundered linen and uniforms as requested.
• Sew or mend torn articles as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and area.
• Perform additional laundry services as required.
• Maintain stock levels and assist team as needed.
