Job description

This role is central to our operations, where your influence will extend across departments and contribute significantly to the ongoing success and health of the business. As a frontline representative of the Technical team, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing food safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Working on a rotational shift pattern, you will provide technical support across the business, ensuring all products and processes meet customer requirements, legislative standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and report non-conformances, collaborating with managers to implement effective corrective actions.
  2. Conduct hygiene, GMP, and traceability audits to support continuous improvement.
  3. Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality control records.
  4. Assist in managing non-conforming products to reduce risk and waste.
  5. Lead and participate in product taste panels to ensure consistency and quality across production.
  6. Ensure quality inspection and rating systems align with company and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Fully familiar with Quality Management Systems and food safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of technical and legislative requirements in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Positive, proactive, and dedicated to first-class customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Methodical with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
