Greencore Group is hiring a Line Coordinator at our Manton Wood site in Worksop. The role involves supervising a line, enforcing health and safety, coordinating teams across shifts, and ensuring production aligns with the plan. A strong communicator with experience in manufacturing and data systems is essential.

Salary is £17.85 per hour with overtime paid at 1.25x after 48 hours. The role includes training and opportunities for development within a busy food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Confident and clear communicator able to engage, influence and motivate others.
• Commitment to self-development and multi-skilling of the team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety and environmental practices.
• Understanding of changing demands and pace of a manufacturing process.
• Experience delivering production plans and KPIs, with improvements.
• Confident using data and software systems for data entry and traceability.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary point of contact for a team, greeting them on arrival and departure and ensuring readiness.
• Coordinate colleagues across tasks, provide feedback on performance and standards.
• Identify talent, support development within the team, and be a go-to for guidance.
• Cover breaks, manage working time and report absences to line managers.
• Ensure prestart safety checks are completed, report near misses and welfare checks.
• Keep production aligned with plan, capture KPI data and ensure high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machinery or materials issues and ensure quality checks for safety and compliance.
