Job summary

MorePeople is seeking an experienced line operative to move into a line leader role in a Kent-based fresh produce operation. The role offers a strong work-life balance with a 4-on-3-off shift pattern, helping you spend more time with family or enjoy long weekends.

After training, your wage will be £15.27 per hour, with a £1.20 per hour increase once training is successfully completed. You will lead by example, monitor quality, and ensure safe, efficient production alongside planning, quality

Qualifications

• Experience in leading or supervising a team is essential.
• Ability to maintain high quality and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail in a busy environment.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting run rates.

Responsibilities

• You'll be managing and motivating your team by leading by example with a professional, can-do attitude.
• Monitoring the quality of the product and ensuring waste and damage to the fruit and its packaging is minimised.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• You'll ensure that the ERP system and all additional production records and paperwork are thoroughly completed, including reporting accidents and issues with machinery.
• Supporting the training and continuous improvement of your team.
• You'll be working closely with the planning, quality control, warehouse and production management teams to ensure that production runs as it should.
• Effectively managing the production lines to maximise efficiency and achieve required run rates.
