About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Line Leader to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a turnover of over £2 billion.
As a Line Leader, you will lead, manage, motivate, and organise the production line to ensure that daily production targets are achieved and customer orders are fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, motivate, and organise an individual production line to meet daily targets (efficiency & yield) and satisfy customer orders with high quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, food hygiene laws, and health & safety regulations.
- Verify that all finished products meet customer specifications and are released positively as required.
- Maintain accountability for product quality, fostering a quality-focused culture where everyone shares responsibility.
- Complete all daily checks and documentation accurately and promptly, including start-up checks, handovers, H&S, and fire register updates.
- Promote a health & safety and quality-driven culture, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing detailed handovers.
- Optimize the use of company resources and comply with policies and procedures.
- Deputise for the Shift Operation Leader when needed.
- Ensure the 5S process is followed and pursue continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and record weights (finished product, waste) to ensure conformity to procedures.
- Coordinate with the packaging team to ensure labels and packaging are ready, avoiding downtime.
- Verify that produced products match specifications, including packaging, labels, and product information.

- Proven experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Practical skills with the ability to work quickly and methodically.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Awareness of health and safety standards.
- Willingness to work flexibly.
