Job summary

Major Recruitment Telford is recruiting for a Line Leader to work fulltime on rotating day shifts (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00) at a Stafford Park food production site. The role pays £14.45 per hour and is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

The ideal candidate has food production experience, a background in packing/production/quality, and prior team-leader experience. The position requires flexibility to rotate shifts and ability to work both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food production environment.
• Experience as packing, production or quality operative.
• Experience in a team leader or supervisor role.
• Willingness to work rotating day shifts.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Line Leader to work fulltime Monday to Friday, on weekly rotational day shifts of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, at an established food production company on Stafford Park. This Line Leader position offers a pay rate of £14.45 per hour, this is a temporary to permanent role.

Responsibilities of a Line Leader:

• Overseeing a group of colleagues
• Repeatedly lifting products up to a maximum of 25kg
• Operating machines
• Inputting production information into a SAGE system
• Grading and Sorting products correctly
• Carrying out quality inspections
• Packaging products into relevant bags and boxes
• Working to a customer specification
• Ensuring all production and personal targets are met

Requirements for a Line Leader:

• Previous experience within a food production company
• Experience as a packing, production or quality operative
• Experience in a team leader or supervisor position
• Flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern
• Ability to work as a team and individually
