Job summary

Hilton Food Group in Huntingdon is seeking a Line Leader to oversee daily operations on the day shift within a state-of-the-art production facility. You will support the Shift Manager in delivering shift goals safely and efficiently.

The role requires line management experience in food production, a focus on health and safety, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. On-site benefits include a competitive package and opportunities for development in a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing teams, ideally in a food production environment.
• Health & Safety experience and focus.

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily production function of the line/team.
• Ensuring information relating to your line is communicated to the team and Production Manager.
• Ensure full traceability for every batch through accurate paperwork.
• Assist in implementing and improving procedures for high standards of work.
• Motivate colleagues and support development through cross-training and assessment.
• Monitor staff performance and escalate any underperformance.

Role title: Line Leader – Day Shift
Salary: £15.44 per hour
Shift/Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am - 6pm
Location: Huntingdon

About the role:

We are nowlooking for and experienced Line Leader whothrives in a friendly, non-hierarchical, ‘consumer focused and customer driven’high performance culture to oversee daily operations of their assigned linewithin our state of the art Production Facilities.
As a Line Leader you will support theShift Manager/Production Manager with ensuring all shift goals are delivered ina safely fashion.

As a Line Leader (Supervisor/Team Leader) yourrole responsibilities will include:

• Managing the daily production function of the line/ team
• Ensuring all information relating to your production line is communicated appropriately to the team and/or Production Manager
• Ensure that Full Traceability is achieved for every batch of product through accurate recording of paperwork.
• Supporting the Production Manager in the implementation and improvement of procedures and processes to ensure highest standard of work is produced
• Positive motivation of colleagues and assisting in progressing the teams development needs through cross training and continuous assessment of requirements
• Monitoring of staff performance and escalation of any poor/ under performance.

To succeed as a Line Leader (Supervisor/TeamLeader) we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:

• Previous experience managing teams, ideally in a food production environment
• Health & Safety experience and focus
