Rajinda Pradesh is our contemporary Eastern-inspired restaurant serving freshly made dishes, from mild and creamy to rich and fiery, using real ingredients inspired by tastes from India and across Asia.

Position: LINE COOK / JUNIOR CHEF DE PARTIE | £12.80 per hour plus tips

All colleagues working in the following restaurants: Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Foresters' Inn, and Vitalé Café Bar will benefit from the discretionary service charge added to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items to agreed standards.
  • Assist the Kitchen Managers with supervision and coaching of Kitchen Assistants; deputise for Kitchen Managers in their absence.
  • Ensure guest requirements are met and seek opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and comply with legal and company requirements.
  • Follow stock control, portion control, and food wastage guidelines to maintain food cost.
  • Support menu implementation, procedures, and standards.
  • Attend all required training for legal compliance, personal development, and menu updates.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines as detailed in the Food Safety Manual.

The ideal candidate will be helpful, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills.

Hours of Work

Working straight shifts, contracted to 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible schedule, including public holidays, Christmas, and New Year on a rota basis.
