Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team at Porto Lounge. You will cook fresh, high-quality dishes and contribute to a smooth, efficient kitchen in a busy all-day restaurant environment.

As a member of the kitchen team, you’ll work with the Head Chef, uphold standards, and ensure every plate hits spec. Flexible hours and part-time or full-time options are available with staff meals and discounts starting on day one.

Qualifications

• A passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Reliable team player with punctuality and effort.
• Energetic, fast-paced, positive attitude.
• Good communication within a team.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen as Grill/Line Chef or Chef de Partie.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety & allergen processes at all times.
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience.
