Job summary

Loungers plc, Portello Lounge, is hiring Chefs to join our kitchen team. We’re offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food from day one, and 50% off food & drinks from day one. This role suits an experienced Chef, Chef de Partie, Line Chef, or Grill Chef looking for a flexible, all-day menu environment.

You’ll work with Head Chef and team to ensure dishes hit spec, kitchen runs smoothly, and standards stay high from prep to plate. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes and meet food safety standards.
• Proven reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec, from tapas to all-day lounge breakfasts.
• Support Head Chef with prep, service and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and prepped.
• Follow allergen and food-safety processes at all times.
• Work as part of a team with FOH to deliver a great guest experience.
