Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team in the United Kingdom. You will cook to recipe standards, help create daily specials, and work with the Kitchen Manager to deliver memorable dining experiences for guests.

We welcome applicants with restaurant or hotel cooking experience or those eager to learn via our funded Level 2 Commis Chef qualification and our Chef Academy. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, pub or similar, or willingness to join the Chef Academy and complete a funded Level 2 Commis Chef qualification.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Basic Food Safety certification or willingness to complete training.
• A passion for great food and creating memorable guest experiences.

Join our kitchen team to showcase your creativity, grow your skills and help deliver outstanding dining experiences for our guests.

This role reports to the Kitchen Manager.

What you'll do:

• Work with your team and Kitchen Manager to deliver excellent guest experiences.

What we’re looking for

• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Basic Food Safety certification (or willingness to complete training).

• A positive attitude, commitment to teamwork and desire to learn.
