Job summary

IT Works Health LTD is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams for LIMS solutions in the UK. You will gather and document requirements, run workshops, and ensure configurations meet client needs.

You will work with project managers, solution designers, and developers to deliver high-quality, timely LIMS configurations. You will engage clients to map processes, translate requirements, support data migration, and lead user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years in a consulting or client-facing role.
• 2–3 years in business analysis or process optimisation.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with laboratory informatics systems (LIMS) is highly desirable.
• Independent and distributed team work capability.
• Fluency in English.
• Ideally LabWare LIMS experience; other LIMS considered.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand and document business processes and functional needs.
• Translate user requirements into clear functional specifications aligned with solution architecture.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support handover of requirements for configuration and development.
• Lead workshops with clients to gather insights and define detailed requirements.
• Support data migration and master data setup in coordination with the client.
• Lead or assist with user acceptance testing, documenting issues and resolutions.
• Coordinate with project managers to manage timelines, scope and expectations.
• Serve as a key contact for clients during implementation and transition phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless handover to post-implementation support.
• Gather and translate laboratory and business requirements into functional LIMS solutions.
• Work with laboratory users, SMEs, IT and stakeholders to understand processes and improvements.
• Analyse and document laboratory workflows, processes, data and system requirements.
• Support LabWare LIMS configuration to align with business and laboratory needs.
