Job summary

Lancashire Independent Living Service is seeking a proactive Personal Assistant to support a 14-year-old autistic young person in the community. The role focuses on helping him access activities, build confidence, and improve wellbeing outside the home.

Duties include after-school and weekend support, encouraging participation in activities such as basketball, and planning suitable outings to enjoy parks and community spaces.

We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and patient Personal Assistant to support a 14-year-old young person to access the community and build confidence outside of the home. The young person is autistic and currently spends most of his time at home, attending school during the week. The aim of this role is to encourage and support him to engage in activities and enjoy time out in the community, helping to improve his wellbeing and social experiences. Duties include:
