Job summary

Lancashire Independent Living Service in the Preston area is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide companionship and confidence-building support to help the individual develop greater independence over time.

The role focuses on one-to-one engagement, assisting with personal organisation, diary planning, and supporting interests in fitness and outdoor activities, with potential extra hours based in Chorley.

Qualifications

• Essential DBS check is required.
• References will be required.
• Friendly, patient and reliable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Understanding of ASD/ADHD would be an advantage.
• Experience in similar roles is desirable but not essential.
