Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Lightning Protection and Maintenance sector, based in Nottingham with remote options. The role focuses on developing new business, engaging Contractors, Consultants and End Clients, and promoting specialist services in a growing technical market.

The position offers £40,000–£45,000 base, with £50,000–£55,000 on-target earnings (OTE), plus a performance bonus, commission, and a company car with a fuel card.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales in maintenance, construction or electrical services or lightning protection.
• Proven ability to generate new business and build relationships with contractors, consultants and end clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across maintenance and related sectors.
• Generate new sales enquiries and build a strong pipeline of prospects.
• Build and maintain relationships with Contractors, Consultants, Facilities Managers and End Clients.
• Attend client meetings and site visits to understand requirements and identify commercial opportunities.
• Promote lightning protection and maintenance services to prospective customers.
