Job summary

Rexel UK Ltd is expanding its lighting design team and seeks three Lighting Designers based in the UK. You will design and implement lighting schemes, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

You will create detailed plans using Relux, Dialux, Draftsite, and AutoCAD, conduct site surveys, and analyze ROI to support value engineering projects. This role offers growth and exposure across industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop lighting plans and schemes tailored to customer requirements, project goals, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed drawings and plans using CAD, Relux, and other specialist software.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
• Select appropriate luminaires and controls for each project.
• Conduct site surveys, lux level tests, and ROI reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Advise on switch specifications and value engineering projects with strategic suppliers.
• Manage projects, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure smooth installations with contractors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers through the branch network.
