Rexel UK Ltd is actively seeking 3 Lighting Designers to work from any UK location. You will design and implement lighting solutions across industries, ensuring aesthetics, functionality and regulatory compliance.

You will generate detailed drawings, conduct surveys, and provide client-facing technical support. The role requires strong knowledge of lighting technologies, experience with Relux/Dialux, CAD tools, and energy-efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop lighting plans and schemes tailored to customer requirements, project goals, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed drawings using CAD, Relux, and other software.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
• Select luminaires and controls for each project.
• Conduct site surveys, lux level tests, and ROI reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Advise on switch specifications and value engineering with suppliers.
• Coordinate projects with suppliers and contractors for smooth installations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers through the branch network.
