Lighthouse Games in Leamington Spa is seeking a Lighting Artist to help craft immersive environments for our titles. You will set up lighting for levels, create lightmaps, and implement dynamic and baked lighting with the art team.

Join a collaborative studio that values ambition and excellence. You should bring a solid grasp of lighting principles, colour theory, and experience with Unreal Engine or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lighting Artist in the games industry or a strong portfolio.
• Solid understanding of lighting principles and colour theory.
• Proficiency with industry-standard lighting tools, particularly in Unreal Engine or similar software.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior artists.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for creating immersive gaming experiences.

Your understanding of lighting principles will help you achieve a balance between aesthetic and functional lighting, ensuring our game worlds feel alive and engaging.

Your responsibilities will include setting up lighting for levels, creating lightmaps, implementing both dynamic and baked lighting solutions, and collaborating with the art team to ensure lighting enhances the overall artistic vision. You will also contribute ideas to improve lighting workflows and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
