Job summary

Wernick Hire is seeking an experienced Appointed Person / Site Supervisor to lead lifting operations and modular building installations across customer sites in the UK. You will ensure safety, compliance with LOLER, and efficient project delivery while coordinating with subcontractors and clients.

The role requires an Appointed Person qualification, CSCS Supervisor Card, and strong planning and communication skills. A competitive package with a company vehicle and extensive benefits is on offer.

Qualifications

• Appointed Person qualification and CSCS Supervisor Card are essential.
• Experience planning and managing lifting operations to LOLER standards.
• Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee lifting operations in line with LOLER and best practice.
• Prepare RAMS and site risk assessments for each project.
• Coordinate installation activities and supervise subcontractors on site.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams throughout projects.
• Monitor progress, control budgets/timescales and ensure safety compliance.
