You will carry out LOLER inspections, testing, adjustments, maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment in our workshop and at customer sites. You will assess equipment condition, complete reports using our CRM system and work directly with customers to explain findings and agree the right next steps.

With varied equipment, different sites and real responsibility, this is an excellent opportunity to deepen your industry knowledge and build a long-term career in lifting engineering. Full LOLER training can be provided.

  • Inspect and test lifting accessories and other lifting equipment.
  • Carry out servicing and routine maintenance in our workshop and at customer sites.
  • Assess equipment condition and make informed decisions about safe continued use.

  • Build respectful, long-term customer relationships through honest communication and reliable service.
  • Plan and manage your workload effectively to meet appointments and reporting deadlines.
  • Work independently while keeping the wider engineering and office teams informed.
  • Follow LOLER, PUWER, customer site requirements and company safe-working procedures.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment and company records to a consistently high standard.
  • Travel across London and the South East, with occasional work further afield.
  • Support colleagues and share knowledge as part of our close-knit engineering team.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You will be enthusiastic, reliable and mechanically minded, with the confidence to work independently and communicate well with customers. You will be keen to learn, strengthen your technical knowledge and take pride in doing the job properly.
