Job summary

GAP Lifting Hire & Sales is hiring a Lifting Engineer to service and maintain lifting equipment at our London depot. You will diagnose faults, repair equipment, and keep service records up-to-date while upholding safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

The role requires experience in lifting equipment maintenance, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently, with LEEA qualification preferred. A driving licence is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lifting Engineer or fitter in a busy depot environment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults would be desirable.
• LEEA qualification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required.
• A customer-focused approach to work and strong attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain lifting equipment to a high standard.
• Diagnose and repair faults and update service records.
• Complete test certificates and keep the workshop area clean and tidy.
