Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a Lifting Engineer to service and maintain lifting equipment at our GAP Lifting depot. You will diagnose faults, update service records, complete test certificates, and ensure the workshop remains clean and organized.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work within a busy depot, with a preference for someone with LEEA qualifications or equivalent experience and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lifting Engineer/Fitter in a busy depot.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults.
• LEEA qualification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members.
• Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence is preferable.

The Lifting Engineer will service and maintain lifting equipment to a high standard at our GAP Lifting depot. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults, updating service records, completing test certificates and keeping the workshop area clean and tidy.
