Bouygues UK are seeking an experienced Lifting Appointed Person to support the safe planning and delivery of lifting operations on a major construction project. You would be reporting directly to the Project Director and will receive technical guidance and support from the company's H&S Corporate Lifting Appointed Person, to ensure lifting operations are planned and executed in accordance with company standards, statutory requirements and recognised industry good practice
We are looking for an individual who is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and workmanship when undertaking lifting management.
You will be organised, dependable and capable of working independently whilst recognising the importance of collaboration within the wider project team. Additionally you will demonstrate sound judgement, communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and supply chain and be confident in challenging unsafe practices where necessary. Above all, we are looking for someone who is keen to continue developing their knowledge and experience, embraces constructive feedback, and is committed to maintaining the high standards expected across our projects
