Balfour Beatty VINCI is seeking an organised Lifting Team Admin in Birmingham to provide office and site support for sublot teams. You will manage SharePoint records, process timesheets, book training, and coordinate requisitions for plant and labour, ensuring accurate documentation across the project.
The role requires strong IT skills, ability to work remotely when needed, and excellent communication with staff at all levels to maintain smooth operations on site.
HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Based in Birmingham - the Central Region runs from the east of Birmingham into the city centre, comprising Sublot Delta, 1B, 4 and 5S. More than 50% of the structures within IPT Area North are located in the Central Region. This region, which covers a complex urban environment, also includes the 3.5 mile twin bore Bromford Tunnel. It also includes Interchange Station, as well as crossing three major highways (A45, M6 and M42).
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous experience of working in a similar role in a construction environment to provide support to one of our sublot teams, this will include the main office. This is a varied and active role and the Lifting Team admin will be expected to carry out admin/office management duties for our sublot Lifting team in the office and for the teams out on site.
