Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Lift Technician for deployment across Portsmouth and surrounding Hampshire areas. The role focuses on diagnosing complex faults, carrying out repairs, testing and commissioning, with responsibilities spanning multiple lift manufacturers.

The ideal candidate has strong lift engineering experience, NVQ Level 4 in Testing and Commissioning preferred (or partial completion), and a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 in Testing and Commissioning preferred.
• Applications welcome from engineers who have partially completed NVQ Level 4.
• Strong experience as Lift Technician or Senior Lift Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults across passenger and goods lifts.
• Attend challenging breakdowns and provide technical support to field engineers.
• Complete advanced repairs, technical inspections and corrective works.
• Test, commission and hand over newly installed or modernised lift equipment.
• Work across various lift manufacturers while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Produce accurate reports and clearly communicate technical findings.
