Job summary

Wessex Lifts is looking for an experienced Lift & Stair Lift Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain stairlifts, hoists and platform lifts across your local region. You’ll work from home with a focus on independent diagnosis and customer service, supported by ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in an engineering discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in mobility, lifting, access or related engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair stairlifts, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Manage a planned schedule of service and repair visits across your region.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and callouts when required.
• Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
• Complete and submit service documentation accurately and on time.
• Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service.
• Opportunity to develop your skills and progress into installation work.
