Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Lift Service & Repair Engineer to join a established lift engineering company. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and repairing lift equipment across multiple sites in the UK.

Salary starts at £45,000 plus depending on experience, with 40 or 48 hours per week and door-to-door travel paid. Benefits include a company vehicle, phone, PDA, 25 days' leave and a pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance is essential.
• Proven background in lift servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Experience working with different lift manufacturers desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage an allocated service area.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on lift equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
• Responding to breakdowns and technical issues.
• Working on a variety of lift equipment, including passenger, goods and platform lifts.
• Fault finding across different lift manufacturers and control systems.
• Completing maintenance reports and associated documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Participating in an on-call rota where agreed.

On-Call Package
