Lift Service Engineer

Location: Manchester and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £45,000

We are a major and well-known lift company. Due to our expanding lift service portfolio, we are seeking a Lift Service Engineer in the Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own lift service route in Manchester and the surrounding area.
• Oversee a lift engineer’s mate to ensure work is carried out correctly.
• Participate in the call rota, which is 1 in 4 weeks.
• Attend lift breakdowns and perform planned servicing and maintenance.
• Provide service and PPM work at customer sites.
• Offer technical support and advice to customers to maximize the first-time fix rate.
• Maintain a professional image at all times as a company ambassador on site.
• Travel throughout the coverage area.

Key Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Lift Service/Maintenance Engineer.
• Relevant qualifications such as J Modules.
• Proficient in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair on Passenger and Goods lifts.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• Participation in a call-out rota; route based in Manchester area.
