Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our Leeds-based team. You will cover Leeds and surrounding areas, performing PPMs and servicing lifts, fault-finding and minor repairs, and attending breakdowns to safely restore service.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills, experience with various manufacturers, and the ability to work independently on a defined route, while following UK safety and LOLER standards.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out PPM on passenger and/or goods lifts.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience attending breakdowns and safely returning lifts to service.
• Able to work independently across an allocated service route.
• Good understanding of UK lift safety requirements and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and servicing of passenger and goods lifts.
• Undertake mechanical and electrical fault-finding and minor repairs.
• Attend lift breakdowns and safely return equipment to service.
• Identify worn or defective components and report repair requirements.
• Carry out adjustments, component replacements and remedial works where required.

• Manage an allocated service route independently.

Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join an established lift engineering company. The role covers Leeds and surrounding areas, offering a manageable service route, strong technical support and long-term career progression.

THE ROLE

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experienced Lift Service Engineer with a background in lift maintenance and servicing.
• Experience carrying out PPM on passenger and/or goods lifts.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience attending breakdowns and safely returning lifts to service.
• Able to identify worn or defective components and report repair requirements.
• Experience servicing and maintaining a variety of lift manufacturers, equipment and control systems.
• Able to work independently across an allocated service route.
• Good understanding of UK lift safety requirements and maintenance procedures.
• Relevant lift engineering qualifications and/or substantial industry experience.
