Job summary

Owen Daniels in Norwich is seeking a qualified Lift Repair Engineer to join our family-run team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on minor repairs, fault finding, and delivering high-quality work across our lift portfolio.

You will mentor apprentices, maintain safety compliance, and collaborate closely with the Norwich branch to uphold service standards. A full UK driving licence is essential and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Proven experience as a Lift Engineer with a focus on minor repairs.
• Good understanding of lift systems, fault finding, and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs across a wide range of lift equipment within your assigned portfolio.
• Deliver work to a high standard, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Complete detailed risk assessments and maintain accurate site records and log cards.

• 8am to 16.45 Mon to Thurs , Friday 8am till 15.45

Job Description

• Carry out minor repairs across a wide range of lift equipment within your assigned portfolio
• Deliver work to a high standard, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality requirements
• Complete detailed risk assessments and maintain accurate site records and log cards
• Support and mentor apprentices and trainee engineers, sharing knowledge to develop future talent
• Work closely with the Norwich branch, maintaining strong communication and service delivery standards

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• Proven experience as a Lift Engineer, with a focus on carrying out minor repairs
• Good understanding of lift systems, fault finding, and safe working practices
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• A full, valid UK driving licence
