Job summary

Adore Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover London and locations within the M25. You will perform lift repairs and maintenance to industry standards, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes for social housing residents and clients.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering, asbestos awareness, and strong fault-finding skills, with the ability to work independently. Ongoing training, a supportive team, and clear career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is required.
• Asbestos Awareness Training is required.
• Experience in the lift industry is essential.
• Experience in Social Housing is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of current British Standards relating to lifts.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned lift repairs, shutdowns, and insurance defects rectification.
• Repair and replace lift door equipment.
• Complete re-rope configurations.
• Replace divertors, motors, and sheaves.
• Install auto diallers and GSM units.
• Upgrade car and shaft lighting systems.
• Complete digital job sheets accurately and on time.
• Support the development and training of apprentices.
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents and clients.
• Ensure compliance with lift engineering standards and procedures.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of lift repair and maintenance works, ensuring all jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current industry standards.
