Job summary

KONE is seeking an experienced Technical Surveyor to support lift modernisation projects across London. You will perform detailed site surveys, assess existing installations and provide technical recommendations to improve safety, performance and reliability.

Working with sales, engineering and operations, you will produce accurate survey reports, develop customer-focused solutions, and travel around the region as required. A flexible approach to hours and locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong lift industry knowledge and hands-on surveying experience.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
• Good communication and customer-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out detailed technical surveys of lift equipment to assess condition, configuration and performance.
• Identify opportunities for lift modernisation and recommend upgrade solutions.
• Produce accurate survey reports and technical documentation to support proposals and delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and operations to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Build relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical expert throughout surveys.
• Support escalator surveys where required (benefits).
